The installation and use of explosion-proof electrical equipment in explosive hazardous places is a basic common sense. The use of qualified explosion-proof electrical equipment can minimize the probability of explosive accidents. However, as a consumable, explosion-proof electrical in the process of use, with the continuous growth of use time, its performance will be reduced. In addition, the lack of explosion-proof knowledge of maintenance personnel or the lack of explosion-proof electrical failure during maintenance will lead to the reduction or even loss of explosion-proof electrical and explosion-proof performance.
To this end, the state issued the corresponding standard, that is, AQ 3009-2007 "Electrical Safety and explosion-proof code for dangerous Places", which clearly stipulates: Explosion-proof appliances in use at least 3 years entrusted with a professional explosion-proof testing center to test the performance, installation, maintenance, etc. of explosion-proof appliances. Rectification measures must be taken in a timely manner for non-conformance to the test, and the inspection report and rectification situation shall be filed with the production safety supervision and management department.
In the actual use process, many enterprises will regularly test the explosion-proof electrical equipment used for their own safety needs to minimize the probability of risk occurrence.
On-site explosion-proof testing needs to provide the following information (all need to be stamped with official seal):
◆ Explosive danger zone division diagram;
◆ The name and safety data sheet (MSDS) of the explosive hazardous substances in the corresponding hazardous area;
◆ List of explosion-proof electrical products in use, including installation area and bit number information;
◆ Copies of explosion-proof certificates of explosion-proof electrical products (issued by explosion-proof inspection authorities);
◆ Illustrative documents on special conditions of use of explosion-proof electrical equipment;
◆ Intrinsic safety system descriptive technical documents;
◆ Relevant information about installation quality (provided by the installation company).
